Accelerated Command Pathway
The Fast-Track First Officer role is specifically designed for experienced pilots aiming for rapid promotion to Captain. Volotea offers a dedicated fast-track to command eligibility for candidates meeting the following flight time criteria:
- A minimum of 2,500 total factorized flying hours.
- A minimum of 1,000 hours on the Airbus A320 type.
Pilots fulfilling these requirements will initially fly one season as a First Officer, after which they will become eligible to apply for the Captain Command Course.
Fast-Track First Officer Profile: Essential Requirements
Prospective candidates for this prestigious position must fulfill the following mandatory requirements:
- Possession of a Valid EASA FCL CPL/Frozen ATPL license.
- Possession of a Valid Airbus A320 Type Rating.
- Holding a Valid unrestricted EASA Class 1 medical certificate.
- Demonstrated English language fluency, corresponding to a minimum ICAO Level 4 proficiency.
- Possession of a Valid EU passport authorizing unrestricted work within Europe.
- A clear history, free of any involvement in accidents or serious incidents.
- Demonstration of a high standard of teamwork, communication, and strong interpersonal skills.
