Leader Crew Culture Brisbane (Inflight Experience)

As a leader, you will be responsible for guiding, supporting, and developing a team of dedicated customer service professionals, ensuring excellence in cabin operations and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a team of approximately 130 team members across cabin operations.
  • Partner with Customer Experience Managers to ensure that the Virgin Australia experience is consistently delivered.
  • Proactively manage the health and well-being of all team members, fostering a supportive and inclusive work environment.
  • Collaborate with leaders and People Partners to achieve positive outcomes on all people-related matters.
  • Develop and monitor team member performance in alignment with Virgin Australia's strategic vision and purpose, taking proactive steps to enhance performance.
  • Drive motivation and engagement, cultivating an environment of strong teamwork and shared success.
  • Respond effectively and provide solutions-focused approaches to emerging people matters that may impact operational efficiency.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum Year 12 qualifications or equivalent.
  • Proven leadership experience in leading large, diverse teams within a fast-paced business environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate remote workforces to achieve positive personal and business outcomes.
  • Experience in aviation, specifically in cabin operations.
  • Trusted people leadership capability with a strong track record of building and nurturing high-performing teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively influence and engage business leaders.
  • High emotional intelligence, with the capacity to read, monitor, and understand behaviors to affect positive outcomes.
  • Ability to drive positive customer outcomes through a large, diverse workforce.
  • Visible leadership style that inspires and motivates others.
  • Strong understanding of working within the scope of Enterprise Bargaining Agreements.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of change management principles, techniques, and tools.
