Flight Attendant
United Airlines is seeking dedicated and customer-focused individuals to join its team as Flight Attendants. As a Flight Attendant, the individual will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of passengers while providing exceptional service.

Responsibilities:
- Prioritize passenger safety and security by adhering to all safety regulations and procedures.
- Provide outstanding customer service by anticipating passenger needs and exceeding expectations.
- Effectively communicate with passengers in a clear, concise, and organized manner, especially during emergencies.
- Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to uniform and grooming standards.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure smooth and efficient flight operations.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to changing situations, including irregular operations and unforeseen circumstances.
- Be available for global assignments 24/7, including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours.
- Serve and sell food and beverages, including alcohol, in a professional manner.
Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years of age or older at the time of application.
- High school diploma or GED required; two or more years of college preferred.
- Minimum of one year of customer service experience in a service-related industry (e.g., retail, hospitality, food service, education, aviation, social services).
- Fluency in English is required; the ability to speak, read, and write Italian fluently is also required.
- Must possess a valid passport with at least 18 months of validity remaining and be able to travel to all countries United serves without restrictions.
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, stoop, stretch, reach, lift heavy objects, and push/pull beverage carts.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug screen, comprehensive background checks, fingerprinting, and vision/hearing tests.
- Must be able to pass a 10-year background check, including criminal background history.
- Professional appearance with willingness to follow uniform, hair, tattoo, and piercing guidelines. Tattoos are NOT permitted on the head, hands, or neck, including behind the ear.

Training includes 6.5 weeks in Houston, TX, with a $140/week per diem, accommodations, breakfast, and lunch provided. A $1,000 bonus is provided upon successful training completion.
