About the Role
UPS Airlines seeks experienced aviation professionals to join its team as Flight Qualified Leaders. This role involves flying UPS aircraft, managing the UPS Airlines FAA Operating Certificate, and contributing to various aviation departments. Successful candidates will be certified as a Captain or First Officer on B747, B757/B767, or A300 aircraft, with placement determined by experience and qualifications.

Previous leadership or management experience in the military or aviation industry.

Current, unrestricted ATP certificate with an airplane category multi-engine class rating and English proficiency endorsement.

Minimum of 4,000 total flight hours.

Minimum of 1,000 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) in fixed-wing jet and/or fixed-wing multi-engine turboprop aircraft, per 14 CFR §1.1 and 14 CFR §121.436.

Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.

FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.

Valid passport and documentation for U.S. entry after international flights.

Authorization to work in the U.S.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university (preferred).

Previous training or instructor experience in the military or aviation industry (preferred).

14 CFR Part 121 airline or other turbojet/turboprop instructor experience and/or airline or equivalent military management experience (desired).

Willingness to relocate for job placement.
Additional Information
Candidates meeting all requirements but not the specific §121.436 (a)(3) flight hour criteria may be considered for a management First Officer role based on overall aviation experience. UPS permits a .3 per sortie factor for military candidates' flight times. A drug screen is required as part of the pre-employment process for this safety-sensitive position.
