Captain Pilot Position - Turkish Airlines Inc.
This announcement seeks qualified Captain Pilots possessing experience on aircraft types not currently within the Turkish Airlines Inc. fleet.
General Qualifications
- Must be a Turkish citizen or hold a valid Blue Card.
- Must have been born after January 1st, 1964.
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Candidates holding foreign diplomas are required to provide official equivalence certificates.
- Must not have received any written disciplinary action for flight failure or flight indiscipline.
- Must not have a criminal record or criminal archive record.
- Must have completed mandatory military service, be exempt from service, or be able to postpone service for a minimum of 2 years.
- Must be willing to relocate to the company's designated main base and reside there.
- Must not have previously resigned from Turkish Airlines Inc. or any other organization due to disciplinary action.
- Must not have previously terminated a contract with Turkish Airlines Inc. or its affiliates.
- Blue card holders and candidates with dual citizenship must demonstrate fluency in Turkish, both verbally and clearly.
Technical Qualifications
- Must possess a current Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) (issued by DGCA/EASA/FAA/ICAO).
- Must hold a valid type rating for the following aircraft types: (Please specify aircraft types here).
- Must have a minimum of 8,000 total flight hours on the aircraft type.
- Must have a minimum of 3,000 flight hours as Captain on an aircraft weighing over 27 tons.
- Must have 1,500 flight hours as a Captain pilot on the specific aircraft type applied for (excluding simulator and line-check hours). Additionally, a minimum of 250 hours as Captain on the specific aircraft type applied for must have been flown within the last 12 months.
