Directly Reports To: Pilot Manager

Mission of this Position: Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), to properly plan , communicate, process information needed to operate the published flight schedule: safely, on time and achieve superior customer satisfaction ratings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet or exceed SIC duties/expectations displaying initiative, adhering to TOA SOPs and aligning with core values of the organization.
  • Pilots shall be familiar with and follow instructions that pertain to their duty position contained in the company General Operations Manual, operations bulletins, and other pertinent instructions.
  • Upon assignment of the flight, ensure that they are legally and adequately rested.
  • Completion of preflight preparation as required , ensuring aircraft and load are ready for departure 15 minutes prior to scheduled departure time.
  • Completing training as assigned by management.
  • Completion of all checklists.
  • Performing all standard radio contacts and position reports when piloting the aircraft .
  • Perform other duties as directed by the Chief Pilot.
  • Assist in escorting, enplaning, and deplaning of passengers during the boarding and deplaning process.
  • Report to work a minimum of one hour prior to departure for each scheduled and charter flight.
  • Be available for their normal duty assignment and occasionally work outside of it as operationally required to meet company needs.
  • Foster an organizational pilot culture of continuous improvement.
  • Must have professional communications skills for complex internal and external aircraft communications.
  • Assist with loading and unloading freight.
  • Operate aircraft in accordance with all applicable regulations and program/corporate policies and procedures.
  • Emphasize flight crew members safety and exemplary customer service.
  • Must note and communicate aircraft deficiencies for maintenance review and correction.
  • Perform flights during day, night, and instrument conditions.
  • And other collateral duties as assigned

Essential Skill Set:

  • Pilot qualifications and aircraft systems knowledge required
  • FAA Commercial ASEL, Instrument Rating , High-performance endorsement
  • FAA Commercial ASES
  • 250 hours total flight time
  • Second Class Medical Certificate
  • Valid US Passport or Green Card
  • FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
  • Overnight availability may be required
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds, sit or stand for extended periods of time, and climb stairs throughout the day
