Aviation Instructor - Boeing 737NG
The Aviation Instructor is responsible for providing comprehensive ground and flight instruction in the Boeing 737-800 aircraft. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of aviation principles and regulations, and the ability to effectively communicate complex information to students.
Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting flight and classroom training in accordance with 14 CFR part 61 subpart G.
- Evaluating student progress and providing constructive feedback.
- Maintaining accurate training records.
- Ensuring the safety and security of all flight operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must hold a valid 737NG type rating.
- Must hold a valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL).
- Must hold a valid Multi-Engine Instructor License (MEI).
- Must hold a valid Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (CFII) rating.
- Must be current with 14 CFR part 61 subpart G for the Boeing 737-800 aircraft in order to exercise privileges of 14 CFR 61.167.
- Minimum of 2,500 hours of total flight time is required, including 750 hours as Pilot in Command in jet aircraft within the preceding three (3) years.
- Minimum of 350 hours of turbine engine instructor or check pilot time is required.
- Must hold a current First-Class Medical Certificate.
