Role Overview
Boeing Test and Evaluation is seeking a highly skilled Senior T-7A Experimental Test Pilot to join the team in Berkeley, MO. The successful candidate will support T-7A flight test and production efforts across multiple operational locations. As part of the world’s leading aerospace manufacturer, the incumbent will contribute to the advancement of defense and aerospace systems.
Position Responsibilities

Act as a subject matter expert on aircraft design performance, PVI development, mission system capabilities, and flight test operations, including safety planning and test card development.

Plan and execute ground and flight tests for experimental, prototype, and production aircraft to evaluate handling qualities, high angle of attack performance, structural integrity, and various onboard systems.

Develop and coordinate flight test procedures to ensure qualification and certification objectives are met.

Author technical reports and flight documentation; provide input for flight manual modifications.

Analyze flight data to recommend improvements in operational techniques, design, and system performance.

Collaborate on customer demonstrations, marketing activities, and regulatory compliance efforts.

Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards, company policies, and safety protocols.

Manage relationships with government representatives and customers to resolve operational issues.

Must hold an FAA ATP or Commercial certificate with Instrument and SEL rating.
Basic Qualifications

Must be a U.S. Citizen capable of obtaining and maintaining a U.S. Security Clearance (Interim/Final Secret).

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a directly related non-US equivalent.

Graduate of a recognized Test Pilot School.

Current FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate (Single Engine Land and Instrument) and Class II medical certificate.

1,500 hours of first-pilot time in tactical fighter/trainer aircraft.

100+ flight hours as first pilot in experimental, engineering, operational, or acceptance flight tests.

Proven military flight test experience.
Preferred Qualifications

FAA Commercial pilot certificate (MEL), C/L Thrust Limitation removed, or ATP.

Tactical fighter/trainer Instructor Pilot rating.

Experience with advanced fly-by-wire control systems.

Developmental flight test experience in tactical aircraft.

Strong proficiency in communicating complex flight test concepts orally and in writing.
Work Environment and Compensation
Compensation:
$205,700 – $278,300, based on experience and qualifications.
Travel:
Up to 25% travel required.
Shift:
Primarily 1st shift; weekend or alternate shifts may be required to meet program objectives.
