CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

This position is responsible for the safe conduct of flights to which he/she is assigned while ensuring compliance with all federal, state, local and international regulations as well as the policies and procedures specified in the Company Operations manual.

  1. Pilot/Flight Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the safe operation of Company aircraft
  • Operate Company aircraft on assigned trips as safely and efficiently as possible, in accordance to and within all FAA regulations
  • Completes all flight planning, weather assessment and weight and balance loading of aircraft
  • Performs exterior pre-flight inspections
  • Address passenger comfort and convenience needs
  • Assist passengers by loading and unloading baggage
  • Supervises the Co-Captain when serving as the Pilot-in-Command
  1. Budgeting, Cost Management, & Purchasing
  • Authorizes the purchase of fuel and services for the aircraft

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  1. FORMAL EDUCATION:

Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Airline Transport Pilot License with Commercial Privileges
  • Must possess and maintain an FAA 1 st Class Medical certificate
  • Multi-Engine Rating

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Type Rating in aircraft that the Company owns/leases and operates
  1. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

Required:

  • Minimum of 4000 flight hours
  • Extensive knowledge of and demonstrated experience operating within all FAA regulations
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality

Preferred:

  • Knowledge and familiarity with Falcon 2000 aircraft
  1. TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Required:

  • Extensive knowledge of and demonstrated experience operating within all FAA regulations
  • Extensive technical knowledge and familiarity navigating in and around other aircraft in general

Preferred:

  • Technical knowledge and familiarity navigating through Falcon 2000 aircraft
  1. TRAINING REQUIREMENTS (During first year of employment):

  2. Recurrent Pilot Training
  3. FOM/SOP
  4. Safety Management System
  5. Emergency Response Program
  6. Surface Contamination
  7. CRM
  8. Emergency Procedures
  9. MEL
  10. International Procedures
  11. Fatigue Management
  12. Security
  13. Dangerous Goods
  14. MedAire
  15. Observation Ride
  1. Preferred:
  • Completion of the following training programs
  1. Upset and Recovery Training (UPRT)
  2. Go/No Go Training
  3. FalconEye Familiarization
