Seaplane Captain – Thai Seaplane
Thai Seaplane, Thailand’s leading seaplane service, invites applications for the position of Seaplane Captain. This pivotal role offers the unique opportunity to command flights over Southern Thailand’s stunning landscapes, delivering safe and memorable journeys for our passengers aboard our Cessna Caravan Amphibian fleet.
Responsibilities:
- Safe and efficient operation of C-208 Amphibian seaplanes, in strict adherence to Thai Seaplane’s operational procedures.
- Conduct thorough pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight inspections to maintain the highest standards of aircraft safety.
- Effective collaboration with ground and aircrew to ensure seamless and efficient operational workflows.
- Provision of exceptional customer service, creating an outstanding passenger experience.
- Strict adherence to all Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) regulations and company safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Valid Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) issued by ICAO, FAA, or EASA.
- Minimum 3000 hours total flight time.
- Minimum 1500 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time on seaplanes.
- Minimum 500 hours PIC time on the C-208 aircraft.
- Current C-208 Type Rating.
- Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- Recent flight on type within the past 90 days.
- ICAO English language proficiency level 5 or higher.
- C-208 Type Rating Instructor/ Examiner (TRI/TRE) certification is preferred.
