Siam Seaplane | C208 Captain
Siam Seaplane and Santai Seaplane are seeking experienced Seaplane Pilots to serve as Pilot in Command (PIC) on the C208EX amphibian aircraft. These full-time positions will conduct premium flight services in Thailand (Bangkok and the Phuket/Krabi area) or Bali, Indonesia, adhering to stringent company safety policies.
About the Role
The Seaplane Pilot PIC will operate the C208EX amphibian aircraft, providing premium flight services while upholding company safety standards. Responsibilities include acting as Pilot in Command and performing other duties as assigned by the Chief Operating Officer. Opportunities are available for short-term PIC assignments, with seasonal arrangements negotiable. The selection period is from September through the end of 2026.
Requirements
- Possession of a valid Cessna SET C208 Sea rating.
- Completion of the last flight on type within the preceding 12 months.
- A minimum of 2,000 total flight hours.
- At least 500 hours of flight experience on the C208 or an equivalent single-engine turbine aircraft.
- A minimum of 1,000 hours of water experience, including time on C208 amphibians.
- Holding a valid ATPL or CPL (or equivalent).
- A valid Class 1 medical certificate.
- A valid instrument rating.
- ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 5.
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Instructor (FI, FE, CRI) or Examiner (CRE) credentials.
- An FAA or EASA pilot licence.
- Additional Single Engine Turbine (SET) ratings.
- Experience on various amphibious seaplanes.
