The Role

As a Pilot at TUI fly Netherlands, the successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the safe, efficient, and remarkable flight experiences that define our customers' holidays. Operating our modern fleet of Boeing 737 and 787 aircraft, the Pilot will uphold the highest safety standards, provide exceptional service to passengers, and actively contribute to fostering a strong and supportive crew environment.

Candidate Profile & Requirements

Candidates are expected to meet stringent professional standards. Essential qualifications and experience include:

  • An unrestricted and valid EASA (frozen) Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
  • A valid Class 1 Medical Certificate.
  • Fluent English proficiency, with a minimum ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP) Level 5.
  • Legal right to live and work without restriction in the Netherlands.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check and meet all regulatory conditions for flight crew clearance within the European Union, in compliance with aviation security requirements. This criterion may affect eligibility for applicants without long-term residence or work rights in the EU.
  • Type Rating Specifics: If not holding a valid Boeing 787 (B787) type rating, applicants must possess another valid jet type rating with a completed line check, along with a minimum of 500 jet flight hours or 100 sectors.

Our Selection Process

  2. Online Psychometric Assessment.
  3. Assessment Centre held at TUI fly Headquarters in Rijswijk.
  4. Simulator Assessment conducted at CAE Schiphol.
