The Flight Crew Member serves a critical function, ensuring the safe and efficient execution of all flight operations. This pivotal role is dedicated to upholding the highest achievable levels of safety, service excellence, and punctuality. Key Responsibilities and Operational Duties
The Flight Crew Member is entrusted with the following principal duties:
- Actively engaging in pre-flight briefings and ensuring complete situational awareness of all flight specifics and operational parameters.
- Contributing proactively to the achievement of superior on-time performance metrics across all scheduled services.
- Addressing and resolving operational problems or passenger concerns promptly, taking necessary actions in close consultation and agreement with the Captain.
- Managing all safety and security matters during flight, diligently following established procedures and collaborating closely with the Captain to ensure compliance.
- Serving as a professional ambassador for the company, consistently embodying and promoting organizational values and standards.
- Fostering efficient teamwork and providing dedicated support to colleagues to ensure harmonious and effective crew dynamics.
- Executing supplementary duties relevant to the achievement of company objectives, utilizing the full scope of their professional competencies.

Candidates must consistently demonstrate exemplary professional behaviour and adherence to strict regulatory and corporate guidelines:
- Ensuring rigorous compliance with all local and national aviation legislation, including occupational health and safety standards.
- Adhering strictly to Company policies, core organizational values, and the recognized auditor’s code of ethics.
- Reporting immediately to the hierarchy any identified hazards, non-compliances, or risks impacting customers, employees, or the operational integrity of the company.
- Maintaining a cooperative, open, and positive attitude to facilitate robust working relationships across all stakeholders, while simultaneously retaining a critical and analytical mindset toward operations.
Essential Technical Requirements and Qualifications
This role demands highly specific, verifiable aviation certifications and experience:
- Possession of a current and valid EASA Commercial Pilot License (CPL) or Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
- Holding a valid aircraft Type Rating coupled with a valid Instrument Rating (IR).
- Minimum of 1,500 hours accumulated experience on Boeing aircraft including B737, B747, B757, B767, B777, or B787 series.
- Minimum of 2,000 flight hours accrued on multi-engine aircraft with a Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW) exceeding 44 metric tons.
- Aviation English Language Proficiency (ELP) level 5 or higher is mandatory.
- Must possess the legal right to live and work within Belgium.
- Holding all necessary operational and health-related certificates required for entry into the territories served by the company.
