Flight Crew Member – Air Belgium
Air Belgium seeks a highly professional and experienced Flight Crew Member to contribute to the delivery of safe, comfortable, and exceptional passenger experiences. Principal Responsibilities:
- Active participation in pre-flight briefings, ensuring thorough understanding of all flight specifics.
- Assistance with efficient and timely passenger boarding, adhering to company standards to maximize on-time performance.
- Delivery of clear and concise announcements in the appropriate languages as required.
- Prompt and effective resolution of passenger concerns or issues reported by senior or fellow cabin crew, in consultation with the Captain.
- Proactive identification and resolution of safety and security concerns during flight, in accordance with established procedures and under the direction of the Captain.
- Representation of Air Belgium, promoting our values and fostering positive customer relationships.
- Collaborative teamwork and provision of support to colleagues as needed.
- Performance of other duties within the scope of competence, as required to meet company objectives.
Essential Requirements and Qualifications:
Professional Conduct and Compliance:
- Adherence to all local, national, and international health and safety regulations.
- Strict compliance with company policies, values, and the auditor's code of ethics.
- Prompt reporting of any hazards, non-compliances, or risks impacting customers, employees, or the company.
- Consistent demonstration of a positive, cooperative, and open attitude, fostering strong working relationships while maintaining a critical and analytical approach.
Experience and Certifications:
- Valid EASA CPL or ATPL.
- Valid type rating with a valid IR rating.
- Minimum 1500 flight hours on B737/B747/B757/B767 or B777/787.
- Minimum 2000 flight hours on aircraft with a Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW) exceeding 44 tons.
- ELP Level 5 or higher.
- Legal right to work and reside in Belgium.
- Possession of all required health and other certifications for access to Air Belgium's operational territories. All ratings must be endorsed on the EASA license.
