Key Qualifications and Requirements:
- Total Flight Time: A minimum of 2,000 flight hours is required.
- In-Type Flight Time: Candidates must possess at least 1,500 flight hours on type.
- Type Rating: A valid type rating is mandatory for consideration.
- Flight Time Specifics: The required 2,000 flight hours must have been acquired on aircraft with a Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW) exceeding 44 tons. Furthermore, 1,500 flight hours must have been logged on the following aircraft types: B737, B747, B757, B767, B777, or B787.
- License Requirement: An Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) is essential.
- License Holder Eligibility: Applications are open to EASA license holders.
- Medical Certification: A current Class 1 Medical Certificate is required.
- ICAO English Proficiency: Candidates must demonstrate an ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP) level of 5 or higher.
- Regulatory Compliance: Applicants must be in full compliance with all local and national legislation, as well as health and safety standards.
- Territorial Entry Requirements: The holding of all necessary certificates, including those of a health-related nature, is required for entry into territories served by Air Belgium.
