Pilot Position at SWISS International Air Lines
SWISS International Air Lines, Switzerland's largest airline, seeks highly skilled and experienced pilots to join its esteemed team. This is a full-time, direct-entry position based in Zurich, Switzerland, with a start date to be determined.
Responsibilities:
As a SWISS pilot, you will represent the airline with professionalism and dedication. Working collaboratively with the flight crew, you will safely and punctually transport passengers and cargo to their destinations. Key responsibilities include:
- Operating SWISS aircraft safely and efficiently, prioritizing punctuality, cost-effectiveness, and a high standard of passenger experience.
- Conducting thorough flight preparation and execution in accordance with SWISS regulations.
- Maintaining effective communication and collaboration with crew members, ground personnel, and air traffic control.
- Supporting and deputizing for the Commander as required.
- Continuously maintaining and enhancing professional knowledge and skills through independent learning and development.
- Demonstrating responsible and sustainable operational practices.
- Operating as an integrated, mature, loyal individual exhibiting strong interpersonal skills and leadership potential.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Completed secondary education (Matura/Abitur or equivalent).
- Possession of an ATPL(A), CPL(A)/IR, or MPL license (EASA Part-FCL).
- Completion of Advanced UPRT Training (EASA.FCL.745).
- Valid Medical Class 1 Certificate.
- A complete and documented aviation record (logbook, licenses, etc.).
- Swiss citizenship or EU/EFTA passport.
- Excellent German language skills (at least B2 level required if not a native speaker) and good conversational English skills (minimum ICAO Level 4).
- Impeccable professional conduct and a clean record.
- Willingness to receive vaccinations approved in Switzerland (including COVID-19, Yellow Fever, etc.).
- Height: 160-198 cm.
- Maximum age: 56 years (based on GAV).
