SUNDAIR: Commander A320 (m/f/d) - Berlin-Brandenburg
SUNDAIR, founded in 2016 and headquartered in Stralsund with operational facilities near Berlin-Brandenburg Airport, is a leading airline specializing in holiday flights. With a fleet of five Airbus A320 and four Airbus A319 aircraft, SUNDAIR offers destinations throughout the Mediterranean, the Red Sea, and the Canary Islands. Departures are available from Berlin-Brandenburg, Dresden, Bremen, and Lübeck. In addition to holiday flights, the airline operates special, charter, and scheduled flights to Beirut, the Lebanese capital.
We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Commander (m/f/d) to join our A320 fleet based in Berlin-Brandenburg.
Responsibilities:
- Command and operate Airbus A320 aircraft in accordance with relevant regulations and company procedures.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of passengers and crew at all times.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service.
- Collaborate effectively with the flight crew and ground personnel.
Qualifications:
- Valid Flight Crew License (ATPL).
- Valid Medical Class 1.
- Minimum 2500 flight hours on CS 25 aircraft.
- Minimum 500 flight hours as Commander on the Airbus A320 fleet or 1500 flight hours on comparable aircraft types.
- Active Type Rating for A320.
- Valid and unrestricted EU passport (at least 6 months valid); non-EU citizens require an unlimited residence permit and work permit.
- Excellent German and English language skills (English Level 4).
- Strong communication, flexibility, and teamwork skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Proven intercultural competence.
- Proficient swimming ability.
- Internet access, personal email address, and reachable by phone.
- Residency within a maximum of 50 km (1 hour) from the assigned base.
- Valid ZÜP (German aviation license) is an advantage.
