Responsibilities:
The A320 Commander will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, adhering to all safety and operational procedures. The role requires a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and customer satisfaction.
Essential Qualifications:
- Possesses a valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL(A)) issued in accordance with EASA-FCL.
- Holds a valid A320 type rating.
- Maintains a valid Class 1 medical certificate issued in accordance with EASA-MED.
- Has a minimum of 1000 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) experience on the A320 family.
- Has a minimum of 2500 total flight hours on aircraft with a Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW) ≥ 27,000 kg.
- Has a minimum of 5 years of experience as an airline pilot.
- Must have no administrative penalties from any Civil Aviation Authority and must not have been involved in any aviation-related accidents.
- Is 62 years of age or younger.
- Demonstrates a minimum ICAO Level 5 English proficiency.
- Is eligible to work within the European Union (EU).
- Has a criminal-free record.
- Must be able to reach the base within 60 minutes during stand-by duties.
- Must accept a permanent contract based in Leipzig.
