Required Skills and Experience
To be considered as a pilot candidate at STAJets, the following qualifications are mandatory:
- Possession of an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate (Multi-Engine Land).
- A current FAA First Class Medical certificate.
- Must reside within a 1.5-hour driving radius of John Wayne Airport, Santa Ana (KSNA).
Pilot in Command (PIC) Flight Time Requirements
- A minimum of 4,000 hours total pilot time.
- A minimum of 2,000 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in fixed-wing, multi-engine aircraft.
- A minimum of 3,000 hours total multi-engine flight time.
- A minimum of 250 hours PIC time in type.
Compensation
The annual compensation for a Pilot in Command position ranges from $180,000 to $220,000.
