Essential Responsibilities and Duties

The Gulfstream G650ER Captain is primarily responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Gulfstream G650ER aircraft. Key duties include, but are not limited to:

• Assuming full command and responsibility for the aircraft, passengers, and crew throughout all phases of flight.
• Conducting comprehensive pre-flight preparations, including meticulous review of the aircraft’s maintenance status.
• Performing thorough pre-flight inspections in strict accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Assessing weather conditions and airport facilities along the planned route, including designated alternate airports, to ensure optimal flight planning.
• Ensuring all flight operations adhere rigorously to Solairus Aviation policies and procedures, alongside all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and international standards.
• Maintaining an unwavering commitment to the safety and well-being of all passengers, aircraft, and crew members.
• Accurately completing all required trip paperwork and documentation in accordance with established procedures.

Qualifications

Prospective candidates for the Gulfstream G650ER Captain position must meet the following minimum flight experience requirements:

• Total Flight Time: 3000 hours
• Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Time: 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Time: 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land Pilot-in-Command (MEL PIC) Time: 500 hours
• Turbine Jet Time: 500 hours
• Instrument Time: 250 hours

Specific Certifications and Requirements

• Possession of a current Gulfstream G650ER type rating or a type rating on a comparable large cabin business jet is essential.
• A valid First-Class FAA Medical Certificate is required.
• The ability to operate on an on-call basis is mandatory to support flexible flight operations.
• Successful completion of annual ICAO International Procedures training is a prerequisite.
• Candidates must either maintain a primary residence within a two-hour drive of KPBI airport or be willing to relocate to the West Palm Beach, FL area.
