Gulfstream G500 Captain Position – Queensbury, NY

Solairus Aviation seeks a highly skilled and dedicated Gulfstream G500 Captain to join our team based at KGFL airport. This full-time position requires a proactive individual who consistently exceeds expectations in meeting the diverse travel needs of our clientele.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

The Captain will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Gulfstream G500 aircraft. This includes, but is not limited to:

Conducting all flights in accordance with safety regulations and best practices.
Thorough pre-flight inspection of the aircraft, adhering to the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
Comprehensive review of weather conditions and available facilities along the planned route and at all intended airports, including designated alternates.
Adherence to Solairus Aviation's policies and procedures, as well as all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
Prioritizing the safety of passengers, crew, and aircraft.
Meticulous completion of all required trip documentation according to established procedures.
Reviewing aircraft maintenance status prior to flight.

Qualifications:

Total flight time: 3000 hours
Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time: 1500 hours
Multi-engine land (MEL) time: 1500 hours
Multi-engine land Pilot-in-Command (MEL PIC) time: 500 hours
Turbojet time: 500 hours
Instrument time: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications and Certifications:

Type rating on a Gulfstream G500 or comparable aircraft.
Possession of a valid First Class medical certificate.
Availability for on-call work.
Ability to complete annual ICAO International procedures training.
Primary residence within a two-hour drive of KGFL, or willingness to relocate.

Compensation:

Solairus Aviation offers a competitive salary range of $50,000 to $500,000, commensurate with experience, location, aircraft type, responsibilities, training, and assigned account.
