Overview

Solairus Aviation is actively seeking a qualified and experienced Full-Time Challenger 604 Captain to join an established operation based at KBED. The ideal candidate is expected to be a collaborative team member who consistently pursues excellence in all facets of their performance. Essential Responsibilities

The Challenger 604 Captain is primarily responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Challenger 604 aircraft. This includes, but is not limited to, conducting all flights in a safe and prudent manner in accordance with company policies, procedures, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations. Key responsibilities involve:

• Ensuring the safe operation of the Challenger 604 aircraft.
• Reviewing the maintenance status of the aircraft prior to flight.
• Performing thorough pre-flight inspections in strict adherence to the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Conducting comprehensive checks of weather conditions and available facilities along the planned route, including suitable alternate airports.
• Guaranteeing all flights are conducted in compliance with Solairus Aviation's established policies and procedures, as well as all relevant Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Upholding the safety and security of all passengers, the aircraft, and the crew members.
• Accurately completing all required trip paperwork according to current procedures.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must meet or exceed the following flight hour requirements:

• Total Time: 3000 hours
• Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Time: 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL) PIC Time: 500 hours
• Time in Turbo Jet Aircraft: 500 hours
• Instrument Time: 250 hours

Specific Requirements

In addition to the flight hour requirements, candidates must possess:

• A type rating on the Challenger 604 or a comparable aircraft type.
• A valid First Class Medical Certificate.
• The ability to work effectively on an on-call basis.
• The capacity to successfully complete ICAO International procedures training annually.
• A primary residence located within a two-hour drive from KBED or the willingness to relocate.

Solairus Aviation compensates its crewmembers based on various factors including market conditions, geographic area, experience level, specific aircraft type, job duties, training requirements, and the assigned account. Based on current market data, the salary range for Solairus crewmembers is $50,000 to $500,000.
