Solairus Aviation seeks a highly skilled and dedicated Full-Time Challenger 604 Captain to join its operations at KHPN airport. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional professionalism and commitment to excellence in all aspects of their performance. This individual will contribute to a team dedicated to providing safe and expert travel solutions for clients, upholding Solairus' unique culture of safety, service, and integrity.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

• Ensure the safe operation of the Challenger 604 aircraft at all times.
• Conduct flights in a safe and prudent manner, adhering to all applicable regulations and company policies, including:
  • Thorough review of aircraft maintenance status.
  • Conducted pre-flight inspections as per the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
  • Comprehensive weather and facility assessments, including alternate airports.
  • Strict adherence to Solairus Aviation policies and procedures, as well as Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Prioritization of passenger, aircraft, and crew safety.
  • Accurate completion of all required trip paperwork.

Qualifications

• Total Flight Time: 3,000 hours
• Pilot In Command (PIC): 1,500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1,500 hours
• MEL PIC: 500 hours
• Turbo Jet Experience: 500 hours
• Instrument Rating: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications and Certifications

• Type rating on Challenger 604 or comparable aircraft.
• First-class medical certificate required.
• Availability for on-call work.
• Ability to complete annual ICAO International procedures training.
• Primary residence within a 2-hour drive of KHPN or willingness to relocate.

Additional Information

Salary range for this position is determined based on market conditions and factors such as experience, geographic area, equipment type, job duties, training, and account assignment. Solairus crewmembers earn between $50,000 and $500,000 annually.
