The Hershey Company seeks a highly skilled and experienced Senior Aircraft Captain to join its aviation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of corporate aircraft, transporting company employees, clients, and guests.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough pre-flight and post-flight inspections, meticulously review flight plans and weather conditions.
- Prepare the aircraft for flight in accordance with all safety regulations.
- Oversee aircraft servicing and promptly report any maintenance discrepancies.
- Assume flight duties as Pilot in Command (PIC) or as delegated by the PIC.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all applicable publications.
- Uphold personal qualifications by completing all required proficiency checks and training.
- Actively participate in and potentially lead additional departmental duties and projects.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3000 hours of total flight time.
- Minimum 1500 hours of turbojet flight time.
- Possession of an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate.
- Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to a flexible, on-demand schedule.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; a customer-service oriented approach.
- Valid passport and driver's license.
- Successful completion of a TSA background check.
- Willingness to undergo random alcohol and drug testing.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Proximity to Hershey, PA or willingness to relocate.
Preferred Experience:
- Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree.
- Graduation from an accredited flight school.
- Formal flight training or military flight training background.
- Prior corporate or charter flight experience.
- Experience in international operations.
- Experience piloting Gulfstream 450 and/or Challenger 604 aircraft.
- Clean flight record, free from accidents or violations.
