Solairus Aviation is seeking a qualified Gulfstream G650ER Captain for a full-time position based at Van Nuys (KVNY), California. This role is instrumental in ensuring the safe and expert execution of client travel needs, aligning with Solairus' core values of safety, service, and integrity.

About the Role

The Gulfstream G650ER Captain will be responsible for the safe operation of the aircraft, conducting flights prudently and in full compliance with all regulations and company policies. Key duties include meticulously reviewing aircraft maintenance status, performing thorough pre-flight inspections as per the Aircraft Flight Manual, and evaluating weather and airport conditions for departure, destination, and alternate locations. The Captain will ensure the safety of all passengers, crew, and the aircraft, while accurately completing all required trip paperwork.

Requirements

• Minimum total flight time: 3,000 hours
• Minimum Pilot in Command (PIC) time: 1,500 hours
• Minimum multi-engine land (MEL) time: 1,500 hours
• Minimum MEL PIC time: 500 hours
• Minimum turbojet time: 500 hours
• Minimum instrument time: 250 hours
• Type rating on the Gulfstream G650ER or a comparable aircraft is required.
• A first-class medical certificate is mandatory.
• Must be available to work on an on-call basis.
• Must complete ICAO International procedures training annually.
• Primary residence must be within a 2-hour drive of KVNY, or a willingness to relocate.
