Solairus Aviation is seeking a full-time Gulfstream G650 Captain for an operation based in Burbank, California (KBUR). This role is dedicated to the safe and professional execution of client travel requirements, upholding Solairus Aviation's commitment to safety, service, and integrity. The Captain will be instrumental in ensuring the safe management of the aircraft, passengers, and crew, and must be available for on-call duties.

About the Role

The Captain is entrusted with the safe operation of the Gulfstream G650, conducting all flights with the utmost prudence. Key responsibilities include meticulous review of the aircraft’s maintenance status, performing thorough pre-flight inspections as per the approved Aircraft Flight Manual, and diligent assessment of weather, route facilities, destination, and alternate airports. The role mandates strict adherence to Solairus Aviation policies, procedures, and all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations. Ensuring the paramount safety of passengers, crew, and the aircraft, alongside the accurate completion of all trip documentation, is a critical function.

Requirements

• Minimum 3,000 hours of total flight time.
• Minimum 1,500 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC).
• Minimum 1,500 hours of multi-engine (MEL) flight time.
• Minimum 500 hours of MEL PIC time.
• Minimum 500 hours of turbojet flight time.
• Minimum 250 hours of instrument flight time.
• Must hold a Gulfstream G650 type rating or a type rating on a comparable aircraft.
• Must possess a current first-class medical certificate.
• Ability to work on an on-call basis.
• Completion of ICAO International procedures training annually.
• Must maintain a primary residence within a two-hour drive of KBUR or be willing to relocate.
