Gulfstream G-IV SP Captain Position at Solairus Aviation
Solairus Aviation is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full-Time Gulfstream G-IV SP Captain to join its team at the KSUA airport. This individual will be a valued member of the organization, upholding the highest standards of safety and excellence in every aspect of their performance. Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Ensure the safe operation of the Gulfstream G-IV SP aircraft.
- Conduct flights with prudence and adherence to all relevant regulations, including but not limited to:
- Thorough review of aircraft maintenance status.
- Conducting a comprehensive pre-flight inspection according to the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
- A detailed assessment of weather conditions and facilities along the planned route and at all designated airports, including alternate airports.
- Compliance with Solairus Aviation policies and procedures, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Prioritizing the safety of all passengers, the aircraft, and crew members.
- Accurate completion of all trip documentation as per established procedures.
Qualifications:
- Total flight time: 3,000 hours
- Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time: 1,500 hours
- Multi-Engine Land (MEL) time: 1,500 hours
- MEL PIC time: 500 hours
- Turbo Jet time: 500 hours
- Instrument time: 250 hours
Specific Qualifications and Certifications:
- Type rating on Gulfstream G-IV SP or a comparable aircraft.
- Possession of a First Class Medical Certificate.
- Ability to work on an on-call basis.
- Capability to complete ICAO International procedures training annually.
- Primary residence within a 2-hour drive of KSUA or willingness to relocate.

Solairus Aviation determines salary ranges based on market conditions and industry standards. Compensation for crew members ranges from $50,000 to $500,000, taking into consideration factors such as geographic location, experience, equipment type/aircraft, job responsibilities, training, and the assigned account.
