Pilot in Command - Gulfstream GIV-SP
Executive Jet Management, a Berkshire Hathaway company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pilot in Command to join its flight operations team based at Centennial Airport in Colorado (KAPA). This position will involve piloting a Gulfstream GIV-SP aircraft, operating under EJM's P135 certificate and flying approximately 400 hours annually.

Responsibilities:
The Pilot in Command will hold the ultimate responsibility for ensuring the aircraft is operated safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all company and regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring Safe Operation of Flight:
- Comply with company and regulatory crewing and trip assignment requirements.
- Conduct thorough flight planning, performance calculations, and weight and balance tasks for each flight.
- Utilize Threats, Plans, and Considerations (TPC) briefing methodology to effectively lead required briefings and mitigate operational risks.
- Adhere to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and collaborate with company personnel as needed. Act as the Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator according to company policy.
- Conduct comprehensive pre-flight inspections, including maintenance status assessment, to ensure the aircraft is mission capable. Record any aircraft discrepancies in accordance with company SOPs.
- Monitor and ensure proper execution of all aircraft ground servicing procedures (e.g., fueling, oil, oxygen) as per SOPs.
- Deliver passenger briefings according to company policy and regulations, prioritizing exceptional customer service and accommodating any special passenger needs.
- Effectively utilize Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) to communicate clearly and promptly with crew and support personnel during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations.
- Delivering an Exceptional Service Experience:
- Provide high-quality service to owners and passengers while identifying and pursuing opportunities to enhance the EJM service experience.
- Proactively investigate and resolve any service deviations.
- Collaborate with fellow crew members and internal EJM partners to provide a consistent, positive service experience for owners and passengers. Effectively resolve conflicts and challenges in a professional manner.
- Maintaining Proficiency and Compliance:
- Maintain required training and recency of experience as per regulatory and company guidelines.
- Uphold the company's Safety Management System (SMS) program and promptly report any safety or non-compliance concerns through established channels.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in corporate/business aviation is preferred.
- FAA Type rating in the applicable fleet.
- Ability to perform all essential functions of the position.
- Minimum Time Requirements:
- Total flight time: 3500 hours
- Multi Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 2000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base Salary Range: $110,000 - $432,000
