Pilot Position - Gulfstream GIV-SP
Executive Jet Management (EJM), a Berkshire Hathaway company, is seeking a highly qualified and experienced pilot to join its flight department at Centennial Airport in Colorado (KAPA). This position entails piloting a Gulfstream GIV-SP aircraft, operating under EJM’s P135 certificate, and flying approximately 400 hours per year. The flight department consists of a dedicated team of three pilots and a specialized maintenance technician.

Responsibilities:
The Pilot in Command (PIC) is responsible for:
- Ensuring aircraft operation in a safe, compliant, and efficient manner.
- Adhering to all company and regulatory requirements.
- Providing an exceptional service experience for passengers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safe Operation of Flight:
- Comply with all company and regulatory requirements for crew assignments and trip planning.
- Execute flight planning, performance calculations, weight and balance tasks.
- Lead required briefings using the Threats, Plans and Considerations (TPC) methodology.
- Adhere to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinate with company personnel.
- Act as the Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator.
- Complete pre-flight tasks, including aircraft maintenance checks, ensuring mission readiness.
- Record aircraft discrepancies according to SOPs.
- Monitor and ensure proper aircraft ground servicing (fueling, oil, oxygen).
- Provide passenger briefings according to company policy and regulation.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, meeting all passenger needs.
- Employ Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) to communicate effectively during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations.
- Exceptional Service Experience:
- Provide high-quality service to owners and passengers, identifying opportunities to enhance the EJM service experience.
- Investigate and resolve service deviations.
- Collaborate with crew members and EJM internal partners to ensure consistent service.
- Resolve conflicts and challenges professionally.
- Proficiency and Compliance:
- Maintain regulatory and company-required training and recency of experience.
- Comply with the company's Safety Management System (SMS) program.
- Report safety or non-compliance concerns through appropriate channels.
Essential Qualifications:
- Prior experience in corporate/business aviation is preferred.
- FAA Type rating in the applicable fleet (Gulfstream GIV-SP).
- Ability to perform all essential functions of the position.
- Minimum Time Requirements:
- Total flight time: 3,500 hours
- Multi Engine Land (MEL): 1,500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 2,000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
Base Salary Range:
$110,000 - $432,000
