Solairus Aviation | BD-700 Captain

Solairus Aviation is seeking a Full-Time Global 5000 Captain to join an operation based at Opa-locka, Florida (KOPF). This role involves the safe and efficient operation of the Global 5000 aircraft, ensuring client travel needs are met with a commitment to safety, service, and integrity.

About the Role

The Global 5000 Captain will be responsible for the overall safe operation of the aircraft. This includes conducting thorough pre-flight inspections, reviewing aircraft maintenance status, meticulously checking weather and facilities for the planned route and alternates, and ensuring all flights comply with Solairus Aviation policies, Federal Aviation Regulations, and the Aircraft Flight Manual. The Captain is also accountable for the safety of passengers, the aircraft, and the crew, as well as the accurate completion of all trip paperwork.

Requirements

• Total flight time: 3000 hours
• Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time: 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL) time: 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land PIC time: 500 hours
• Time in Turbo Jet aircraft: 500 hours
• Instrument flight time: 250 hours
• Must be able to work on an on-call basis.
• Must be able to complete ICAO International procedures training annually.
• Primary residence within a 2-hour drive of KOPF or willingness to relocate.

Qualifications

• Type rating on the Global 5000 or a comparable aircraft.
• Valid first-class medical certificate.
