Essential Qualifications and Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will be selected based on a proven history of operational excellence, impeccable safety standards, and the ability to uphold the highest levels of professionalism. Candidates must meet the following mandatory licensing, experience, and professional criteria:
Mandatory Licensing and Certifications
- The candidate must hold a current and valid Canadian Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
- Possession of a valid Class 1 Medical Certificate without restrictions is required.
Minimum Flight Time Requirements
The candidate must demonstrate substantial flying experience, meeting or exceeding the following minimum flight hours:
- A minimum of 2,500 hours of total cumulative flying time.
- A minimum of 1,000 hours serving as Pilot in Command (PIC).
Desired Qualifications and Key Assets (Highly Preferred)
Experience and ratings detailed below will significantly strengthen a candidate's application for this prestigious role:
- A current Type Rating on the Cessna Citation CJ1 (or applicable similar aircraft) is a significant asset.
- Possession of a strong Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) Rating.
- Current Multi-Engine Rating is preferred.
- Previous experience operating in international airspace and managing complex, long-haul flight operations is highly desirable.
