Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure strict compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, checklists, and best practices.
  • Perform duties for up to 14 hours per day during trips for up to 8 consecutive days, potentially crossing multiple time zones and navigating varying weather conditions.
  • Maintain a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
  • Be available for overnight trips, including several days and nights away from home in hotels.
  • Must reside within 1 hour of the Salt Lake International Airport or commit to relocating within 2 months of hire. Commuting is not an option.

Qualifications

  • FAA Commercial or Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with appropriate category and class.
  • Minimum 1000 hours total flight time, with specific requirements including:
    • 950 hours total flight time if currently employed as an active CFI.
    • 50 hours multi-engine.
    • 50 hours of instrument time.
    • 150 hours cross country.
  • Valid FAA 1st Class Medical Certificate.
  • FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
  • FAA Instrument Rating.
  • Valid U.S. passport and driver’s license.
  • Prior Part 135 experience is preferred.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Must be able to pass TSA background checks and secure an appropriate SIDA badge when applicable.

  • Demonstrates a high degree of integrity and confidentiality.

Salary, Schedule, and Perks

  • Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 annually, based on experience.
  • Schedule: Fluid schedule on a managed aircraft.
