The Direct Entry Captain will be responsible for the safe and efficient command of large commercial aircraft across Singapore Airlines’ extensive international network. Qualifications and Experience

Prospective candidates for the Direct Entry Captain position must satisfy the following stringent requirements:

Possession of a valid Class 1 Medical Certificate, recognized or eligible for validation by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS).
Holding a valid Air Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL), recognized or eligible for validation by CAAS. Candidates with foreign licences are encouraged to ascertain their eligibility via official CAAS channels prior to application.
A minimum of 7,000 total flying hours, inclusive of at least 3,000 hours as Pilot-In-Command (PIC) on commercial jet aircraft engaged in international operations.
Demonstrated proficiency in English, evidenced by an ICAO English Language Proficiency endorsement of Level 5 or above, which is essential for clear and effective inflight radio-telephony communications.
Meeting a minimum height requirement of 1.58 meters to effectively perform safety and emergency procedures on board the aircraft.

Selection Process

Applicants will engage in a rigorous multi-stage recruitment process designed to identify the most suitable and qualified candidates. Remuneration and Service Benefits

Successful candidates will be assigned to operate on one of Singapore Airlines' modern fleets, specifically the Boeing 747 (B747), Boeing 787 (B787), or Boeing 737 (B737) aircraft.

Training and Development

Where operationally required, successful candidates will receive comprehensive training to acquire the necessary Aircraft Type Rating for their assigned fleet. A relevant training bond will be applicable to cover the costs associated with this specialized training.
