Airline Captain (E190) - Flight Operations
An exceptional opportunity awaits an experienced and dedicated Airline Captain to join our expanding flight operations team as an E190 Pilot-in-Command. Key Responsibilities
- Assume ultimate command of the aircraft from the left-hand seat, exercising full authority and responsibility for all flight operations.
- Ensure rigorous adherence to the highest personal and professional standards in all aspects of duty.
- Prioritize and ensure the safety, comfort, and on-time performance of all assigned flights.
- Act as a strong leader and team player, fostering a positive and productive working environment.
- Mentor and develop fellow crew members, contributing to their professional growth and operational efficiency.
- Champion and deliver the signature 'Scootitude' experience to all passengers onboard.
E190 Pilot Requirements
For Pilots with Jet Experience:
- A minimum of 3,500 total flight hours on aeroplanes with a Maximum Take-Off Mass (MTMA) of 5,700kg or more.
- At least 1,000 Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours (excluding P1 U/S hours) on multi-engine jet, commercial airline transport aircraft certified for multi-crew operation.
For Pilots without Jet Experience:
- A minimum of 4,000 total flight hours on aeroplanes with an MTMA of 5,700kg or more.
- At least 2,000 Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours (excluding P1 U/S hours) on multi-engine turboprop, commercial airline transport aircraft certified for multi-crew operation.
Licensing and Regulatory Requirements
- Possession of an ICAO Air Transport Pilot License (ATPL) issued by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS). Foreign ATPL holders will be required to undergo license conversion, which necessitates a valid instrument rating and a proficiency check with a minimum of six months’ validity.
- Demonstrated ability to speak and understand English with a minimum of ICAO Level 4 proficiency.
- Ability to satisfy all vaccination requirements as mandated by CAAS.

Training Co-Payment & Training Bond
- Where applicable, successful candidates will receive comprehensive training to acquire an Aircraft Type Rating for the assigned fleet.
- Candidates who receive type rating training will be subject to a co-payment of the training cost and will be required to enter into a training bond agreement.
Application and Assessment Process
The selection process is structured to identify candidates who best meet the demanding requirements of this role:
- Online Aptitude Tests: Shortlisted applicants will be invited to complete a series of online aptitude assessments.
- Assessment Centre in Singapore: Candidates successful in the online assessment stage will be invited to an Assessment Centre, which includes a group stage and an individual interview.
- Simulator and MMPI Assessment: Successful candidates from the Assessment Centre will proceed to a two-day evaluation consisting of a Simulator Assessment and a Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI) Assessment.
