Citation X+ Captain
Silver Air Private Jets is seeking an experienced and professional Citation X+ Captain. This position offers a unique seasonal basing arrangement, operating from Scottsdale, Arizona (SDL) between November and May, and from Driggs, Idaho (DIJ) between June and October. The Captain will join a team operating a recently modernized Citation X+, featuring new paint, a redesigned interior, upgraded galley, and global Starlink in-flight Wi-Fi connectivity. This aircraft is among the most comprehensively equipped Citation X+ models in operation, designed for both charter performance and luxury passenger experience.
The Citation X+ Captain is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft and ensuring all flights are conducted in accordance with company policies, procedures, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations. This role requires a dedicated team player who upholds the highest standards of excellence and contributes to meeting the travel needs of the company's clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Reviewing the maintenance status of the aircraft to ensure continuous airworthiness.
- Conducting comprehensive pre-flight inspections as detailed in the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
- Evaluating weather conditions and airport facilities along the planned route, including alternate airports.
- Ensuring strict adherence to Silver Air policies, procedures, and Federal Aviation Regulations during all flight operations.
- Maintaining the highest level of safety for all passengers, crew, and the aircraft.
- Completing all required trip documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Required Qualifications
- Total flight time: 3500 hours
- Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time: 3000 hours
- Multi-engine time: 3000 hours
- Multi-engine PIC time: 2000 hours
- Time in type (CE-750 or comparable aircraft): 200 hours
- PIC time in type (CE-750 or comparable aircraft): 100 hours
- Current Type Rating on CE-750.
- Valid First Class Medical Certificate (required).
- Compliance with ICAO Annex I - 2.1.1.0 as it pertains to international commercial air transport with more than one pilot.
- Ability to obtain and maintain CANPASS authorization for unrestricted travel to/from Canada.
Preferred Qualifications
- Total Turbine time: 1750 hours
- Previous Part 135 experience.
