Citation X Captain
Silver Air is seeking an experienced Citation X Captain. The Captain is responsible for the safe and prudent operation of the aircraft and ensuring all flights adhere to the highest safety standards. This individual will join a hardworking team committed to meeting the travel needs of its discerning clientele.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing aircraft maintenance status to ensure airworthiness.
- Conducting thorough pre-flight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
- Evaluating weather conditions and facilities along planned routes and at designated airports, including alternates.
- Ensuring flight operations comply with Silver Air policies, procedures, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Prioritizing the safety of all passengers, aircraft, and crew.
- Accurately completing all trip-related documentation per established procedures.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3,500 hours total flight time, with 3,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC).
- Minimum of 3,000 hours multi-engine time, with 2,000 hours as PIC.
- 1,750 hours total turbine time preferred.
- 200 hours total time in airplane type, with 100 hours as PIC.
- Type rating on CE-750 or comparable aircraft.
- Valid First Class Medical Certificate is required.
- Previous Part 135 experience is preferred, but not required.
- Compliance with ICAO Annex I - 2.1.1.0 pertaining to aircraft engaged in international commercial air transport operations with more than one pilot.
- Ability to obtain and maintain CANPASS authorization for unrestricted travel to/from Canada as a commercial pilot.
- Demonstrated strong customer service and excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with all levels of employees and clients, delivered with a superior level of professionalism.
- High level of detail orientation, with excellent organizational skills, adaptability to changing environments, and flexibility in managing frequently shifting priorities.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work on an on-call basis, under pressure, and multi-task effectively. Availability for a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is required due to Silver Air's 24/7 operational nature.
