Global Express Captain - Van Nuys, CA
Join a professionally managed, flagship-level operation for a globally active owner account. This role supports a structured, long-term crew model with significant international mission exposure, requiring mature command presence and refined owner interaction skills.
Responsibilities
- Ensure aircraft airworthiness by reviewing maintenance status.
- Conduct pre-flight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
- Review weather, NOTAMs, facilities, and operational factors for planned routes.
- Operate all flights in compliance with company policies, procedures, and Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Maintain the highest standard of safety for passengers, crew, and aircraft.
- Complete all trip-related documentation accurately.
Qualifications
Flight Time & Experience
- Total Flight Time: 3,500 hours (or 3,000 hours PIC)
- Multi-Engine Time: 3,000 hours (or 2,000 hours PIC)
- Total Turbine Time: 1,750 hours (preferred)
- Time in Type (BD-700): 200 hours total (or 100 hours PIC)
- BD-700 type rating or type rating in a comparable aircraft
- Part 135 experience (preferred, not required)
Certifications & Compliance
- Valid First Class Medical Certificate
- ICAO Annex I – 2.1.1.0 compliance for international commercial operations requiring two pilots
- Ability to obtain and maintain CANPASS authorization
