Aviation Job Description: Captain

A Captain is a leader and a team player, responsible for the safe, comfortable, and on-time operation of all flights, while upholding the highest personal and professional standards. The Captain sets an example and actively develops team members to deliver an exceptional passenger experience.
Responsibilities:
The Captain is in command of the flight, ensuring the safety, comfort and punctuality of all flights, adhering to stringent personal and professional standards. They lead by example and actively contribute to the development of the flight crew, fostering an environment of excellence in the passenger experience.
E190 Requirements:
Pilots with Jet Experience:
- A minimum of 3,500 total flight hours on aeroplanes with a Maximum Takeoff Mass (MTMA) of 5,700kg or more.
- At least 1,000 Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours (excluding P1 U/S hours) on multi-engine jet, commercial airline transport aircraft certified for multi-crew operation.
Pilots without Jet Experience:
- A minimum of 4,000 total flight hours on aeroplanes with a Maximum Takeoff Mass (MTMA) of 5,700kg or more.
- At least 2,000 Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours (excluding P1 U/S hours) on multi-engine turboprop, commercial airline transport aircraft certified for multi-crew operation.
Licensing Requirements:
- Possession of a Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore issued ICAO ATPL (foreign ATPL holders will be required to undergo license conversion including instrument rating and a proficiency check with a minimum of 6 months' validity).
- Demonstrated ability to speak and understand English at a minimum ICAO level 4.
- Compliance with all vaccination requirements as stipulated by CAAS.

Training Co-Payment & Training Bond:
Successful candidates may be required to undergo aircraft type rating training. Those who receive type rating training will be subject to a co-payment of the training cost and will be required to enter a training bond.
