We are excited to announce that SAS is now seeking Air Stewards for our base at Copenhagen Airport Kastrup. As Air Steward, you are responsible for safety, punctuality, service on board SAS flights. You will be our product specialist. Are you passionate about wine and food and like working within a service concept. You can bee the next Air Steward in SAS. Your commitment is to provide excellent service onboard and to contribute to making life easier for Scandinavia’s most frequent travelers. We provide a modern fleet of aircrafts and a well proven concept, both on intercontinental and European flights.
The responsibilities of an Air Steward primarily take place on long-haul flights, where your foremost task is to create a positive environment with a high level of safety and service for both customers and colleagues. Additionally, as an Air Steward, you are responsible for organizing, supervising, and structuring the work in the galley, as well as briefing colleagues on the menu and wine serving for the flight.
We expect you to be a well-informed person who is always up to date with SAS service concepts and capable of conveying this information to your colleagues clearly, understandably, and kindly. As a Steward, it is also your responsibility to actively contribute to creating a good atmosphere on board and to solve challenges calmly and composedly.
It is important to us that you thrive in a high-paced work environment, while also being well-coordinated and maintaining a good overview. You should have a natural understanding of teamwork and strive to always be one step ahead in terms of safety and punctuality on board, as well as in the planning of service.

Security requirements
Employment requires an approved medical certificate, approved background check for access cards, approved/passed course, and that you meet the company’s requirements set for cabin crew. Employment also requires completed and passed drug and alcohol tests (blood and urine samples). These must be taken before the start of the course.
