SAS is seeking dedicated and service-oriented individuals to join their team as Cabin Crew, based at Copenhagen Airport Kastrup. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety, punctuality, and service excellence of all passengers onboard SAS flights, as well as onboard sales. Minimum requirements for this role include being at least 18 years of age, having a height between 160 cm and 190 cm, possessing a minimum of a high school education, and demonstrating excellent English skills (Berlitz level B2 or equivalent). Candidates must be in good physical and mental health with acceptable vision (+/- 0.7 with or without corrections), and be able to pass a comprehensive health check including drug and alcohol tests. Strong swimming skills, adherence to uniform regulations, a valid EU passport enabling worldwide travel, and eligibility to live and work permanently in Denmark are also essential. A clean criminal record from all countries of residence and the willingness to undergo a 5-year background check at the time of employment are mandatory.
For experienced Cabin Crew, the position requires a valid EASA Attestation (with at least 12 months of continuous flight experience within the last 4 years) and a valid EASA Cabin Crew Medical Certificate. Prior experience as a senior cabin crew member is considered advantageous.
The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, excellent interpersonal skills, and be a dependable team player. The ability to work flexible and irregular hours is crucial.
Employment with SAS is contingent upon passing a medical examination, a background check for access cards, the successful completion of a required training course, and meeting all company standards for cabin crew. Candidates will also be required to complete and pass drug and alcohol tests (blood and urine samples) prior to the course commencement. The alcohol tests will specifically screen for risky alcohol consumption patterns using CDT and PEth markers, and the drug test will screen for the use of narcotic substances. As the role involves working within a secure airport area, an extensive police certificate/clean record is also mandatory and requires approval by aviation authorities.
