Cabin Crew Opportunity with Scandinavian Airlines (SAS)

As a Cabin Crew member, the individual will be responsible for ensuring the safety, punctuality, service excellence, and onboard sales for SAS flights. This dynamic position requires a proactive and customer-focused approach.

SAS offers both full-time (100%) and resource pool (part-time) employment opportunities. Part-time positions are ideal for individuals seeking flexible work hours, with shifts primarily scheduled during weekends, holidays, and the summer high season. Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Height between 160 cm and 190 cm.
  • Completion of education to a minimum high school level.
  • Demonstrated excellent English language skills (Berlitz level B2 / gymnasium grade minimum B).
  • Good physical and mental health, with good vision (corrected or uncorrected to +/- 0.7).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain health certifications including drug and alcohol testing approvals.
  • Proven strong swimming skills.
  • Ability to adhere to the airline's uniform regulations.
  • Possession of a valid EU passport that allows for unrestricted global travel.
  • Eligibility to live and work permanently in Sweden.
  • A clean criminal record across all countries of residence and a willingness to undergo a comprehensive 5-year background check upon commencement of employment.

For Experienced Cabin Crew:

  • Valid EASA Attestation (with a minimum of 12 months of continuous flying experience within the last 4 years).
  • Valid EASA Cabin Crew Medical Certificate.
  • Previous experience as a senior cabin crew member is considered an advantage.

Personal Qualities:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong service orientation, exceptional interpersonal abilities, a positive demeanor, and a high level of work capacity. They should be a dependable team player, highly adaptable, and comfortable working irregular hours.

Security Requirements:

Employment is contingent upon an approved medical certificate, passing a background check for access cards, successful completion of all required courses, and meeting all company standards for cabin crew. Drug and alcohol testing, including blood and urine samples, is also mandatory before the course start date. Alcohol testing will include CDT and PEth tests, which are specific markers for risky alcohol consumption. Drug tests measure the use of illicit substances.

SAS premises and work environments are situated within the airport's security-controlled area; therefore, candidates must provide an exhaustive police certificate or demonstrate a clean criminal record and have approval from the aviation authorities.
