Qualifications and Requirements

Candidates for the Cabin Crew Member position must meet the following criteria:

  • Possess a clean criminal record.
  • Hold a valid European unrestricted passport, ensuring visa-free entry to Norwegian destinations.
  • Possess a valid work permit for Sweden.
  • Be capable of passing a drug and alcohol test prior to employment.
  • Be a minimum of 20 years of age.
  • Have a minimum height of 160 cm, or be able to reach 210 cm on tiptoes.
  • Be able to swim.
  • Be fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Reside within a 90-minute commute of the Stockholm base or be willing to relocate.
  • Ensure no tattoos are visible on the face or neck. Tattoos on hands or behind the ear must not exceed 1.5 cm in size.
  • Preferably hold a Cabin Crew Attestation (CCA).
  • Possess a valid medical certificate or be able to obtain one.
  • Preferably be fluent in a Scandinavian language.
  • Preferably have completed upper secondary school (academic or practical training track) or equivalent education. Relevant experience in service professions may, in some cases, compensate for formal schooling.

Upon Offer of Employment

Selected candidates will be required to obtain:

  • An approved medical certificate, including intoxication/alcohol testing.
  • A successful background check to secure an admission card.
  • Successful completion of Norwegian's mandatory Cabin Crew training course.
