Key Responsibilities
The Cabin Crew member is responsible for upholding the highest standards of safety, security, and service onboard, ensuring a welcoming and secure environment for all passengers. This includes managing passenger needs, responding to emergencies, and working collaboratively with colleagues.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Possess a height between 160 cm and 190 cm (without shoes).
- Have completed education to a minimum level equivalent to high school.
- Hold a minimum of two years of work experience. Experience in hospitality, sales, or service sectors is advantageous.
- Demonstrate fluency in the English language, equivalent to Berlitz level B2 (Gymnasium Min. B).
- Possess strong swimming skills.
- Be able to comply with uniform regulations. This includes no tattoos on the face. Tattoos with offensive or religious motives and piercings are not permitted according to SAS Uniform Policy. Tattoos on hands or the neck must not exceed one centimeter in size and are limited to a maximum of one such tattoo.
- Hold a valid EU passport permitting unrestricted travel worldwide.
- Be legally eligible to live and work permanently in Sweden.
Security Requirements
Employment in this role is contingent upon meeting strict security standards:
- Successful completion of an approved security interview/background check for access cards.
- Successful completion and passing of the required training course.
- Fulfillment of all company requirements set for Cabin Crew.
- Maintaining good physical and mental health, with vision of +/- 0.7 (with or without corrections), enabling the obtainment of a health certificate in accordance with EASA Regulations.
- Successful completion and passing of mandatory drug and alcohol tests (blood and urine samples) taken prior to the start of the training course.
- Approval by aviation authorities, including providing an exhaustive police certificate/clean record, as premises and work are located within secure airport areas.
