Job Description: Hawker Captain

The successful candidate will command Hawker aircraft, leading a dedicated team of aviation professionals. This position demands a leader whose expertise and judgment ensure safe, efficient, and luxurious flights, delivering an exceptional experience to esteemed clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Flight Operations: Safely and efficiently command Hawker aircraft, adhering to all operational standards and procedures.
  • Client Experience: Deliver superior in-flight experiences, prioritizing client comfort, privacy, and satisfaction.
  • Safety Compliance: Rigorously adhere to all Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, company policies, and aviation best practices.
  • Flight Planning: Collaborate with dispatch and flight operations teams to develop optimal routes, schedules, and logistical plans.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to ensure ongoing professional development and operational excellence.

Qualifications

SC Aviation seeks an experienced and highly skilled aviation professional who meets the following criteria:

  • Total Flight Time: A minimum of 3,000 hours total flight time.
  • Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Time: A minimum of 1,500 hours as Pilot-in-Command.
  • Turbine Time: A minimum of 100 hours in turbine aircraft.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Possess a valid Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) license and a current 1st Class Medical Certificate. An HS-125 (Hawker) type rating is highly preferred.
  • Skills: Demonstrates exceptional piloting proficiency, strong leadership capabilities, and outstanding communication skills.
  • Attributes: Must be highly detail-oriented, customer-focused, and possess a profound passion for aviation excellence.
  • Residency Requirement: The successful candidate must reside within a 90-mile radius of Janesville, Wisconsin, to ensure operational readiness and responsiveness.
