Flight Attendant

Aviation professionals are sought to ensure the safety and comfort of passengers, adhering to all FAA and Inflight guidelines. This role demands a commitment to providing a secure and pleasant onboard experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute all regulatory and assigned cabin duties with meticulous attention to passenger needs, prioritizing safety and comfort.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of emergency procedures and the operation of all onboard emergency equipment. This includes the ability to operate emergency exits and aircraft equipment with necessary movements and force, up to 70 pounds.
  • Serve food and beverages, requiring the maneuvering of movable carts weighing over 250 pounds.
  • Assist passengers with the stowage of carry-on baggage, up to 35 pounds.
  • Maintain a neat and orderly cabin environment.
  • Contribute to on-time operations by collaborating with crew members to meet all report, departure, and turn times.
  • Conduct inflight sales and promotional activities as assigned.
  • Assist other Customer Service staff with passenger handling or related duties.
  • Maintain reliable and punctual attendance, following company policies and procedures.
  • Present a professional demeanor in conduct and appearance, adhering to the company uniform dress code.
  • Comply with all Rules of Conduct as outlined in applicable manuals.
  • Maintain current Inflight guides and manuals.
  • Foster the company’s core values and culture in the work environment.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED is required, along with a minimum of two years of customer service experience.
  • Must be at least 20 years of age by the first interview date.
  • Additional years of customer service experience, particularly in aviation, and previous Flight Attendant experience are preferred.
  • Possess polished interpersonal skills with a positive, customer-centric attitude.
  • Must be willing to serve alcoholic beverages and handle peanuts, meals containing shellfish/seafood, beef and pork.
  • Must be comfortable working around animals and other allergens.
  • Must adhere to the company’s Flight Attendant Style Guide regarding visible tattoos and piercings.
  • Must have a wingspan of approximately 55 inches or greater.
  • For safety reasons, must be able to sit in the Flight Attendant jump seat with seatbelt and shoulder harness fastened without any modifications.
  • Excellent English language proficiency, including the ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and governmental regulations.
  • Effective communication skills to present information and respond to questions from management, crew, passengers, and the public.
  • Ability to understand and respond to shouted verbal commands during emergencies.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a time-sensitive environment, manage stress, and adapt to unexpected changes.
  • Ability to interpret various instructions provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to remain calm and react quickly in diverse emergency situations.
  • Demonstrated ability to make day-to-day operational decisions, process information, and react positively during stressful situations.
  • Physical strength to operate emergency equipment, lift up to 35 pounds above shoulders, and push/pull carts exceeding 250 pounds.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, stoop, crouch, squat, climb, and kneel.
  • Clear vision (with correction) at 20 feet or more, and the ability to hear verbal communications, including over aircraft communication systems.
  • Ability to move freely and perform required functions quickly in a confined aircraft environment.
  • Ability to work extended duty periods on sequential days.
  • Must be willing to work in a culturally diverse atmosphere and interact with passengers and crew under stressful conditions, accommodating customer special needs and disabilities.
  • Must be willing to work varied schedules, including early mornings, nights, overnights, and weekends.
  • Willing to travel up to 100% of the time, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overnights and be willing to relocate based on company operational needs.
