About the Role
Contour Airlines is seeking qualified individuals to join its team as Flight Attendants. This full-time position, based in the United States, is crucial for ensuring passenger safety and providing an exceptional in-flight experience aboard Contour's fleet. The role demands adherence to rigorous FAA regulations and company standards, prioritizing passenger well-being and comfort throughout each flight.
Key Responsibilities

Ensuring passenger safety and comfort in accordance with FAA regulations and company policies.

Conducting safety demonstrations and providing clear passenger instructions.

Responding effectively to in-flight emergencies, including evacuations and medical assistance (CPR/First Aid).

Maintaining cabin safety, security, and operational standards.

Delivering high-quality customer service, including meal and beverage service.

Assisting passengers with special needs, such as unaccompanied minors, elderly travelers, and individuals with disabilities.

Managing luggage stowage and providing assistance as required.

Performing duties involving physical exertion, including lifting up to 75 lbs, pushing/pulling carts, and operating aircraft doors.

Maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the cabin, galley, and lavatories.

Completing all required documentation and reports accurately.

Operating galley/cabin service equipment and in-flight entertainment systems.

Adhering to all safety-conscious behaviors in daily operations.

Performing additional duties as assigned by leadership or the Pilot-in-Command.
Requirements

Physical ability to perform tasks requiring frequent walking, bending, reaching above shoulder height, and lifting up to 75 lbs, with or without accommodation.

Ability to lift and stow luggage into overhead bins (up to 67 inches from the floor).

Ability to operate and secure aircraft doors (up to 60 lbs).

Ability to push and pull food and beverage carts (requiring up to 32 lbs of force).
Qualifications

Compliance with all FAA regulations and company policies.
Compensation and Benefits
-
Starting annual salary: $34,000.00, with annual increases up to $42,500.00.

Retention bonus of up to $2,000.00 per year upon reaching maximum salary.

Eligibility for health, vision, and dental insurance, short/long-term disability, and voluntary life insurance (effective the first of the month following hire date).

401(k) Savings Plan with company matching contribution up to 6% of eligible compensation (eligibility begins the first of the month following hire date).

Paid sick leave: Accrual of up to 56 hours per year, with unused leave rolling over up to 480 hours.

Vested vacation hours: Eligible to receive on January 1st following hire date.

Non-Revenue/Space Available (NRSA) travel privileges on Contour upon hire, with access to MyID Travel after 6 months of active service.
