Flight Attendant

A highly motivated and customer-focused individual is sought to ensure the safety and comfort of passengers, adhering to all FAA and Inflight guidelines. This role requires a commitment to providing a secure and enjoyable onboard experience while maintaining a professional and reliable presence.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Perform all regulatory and assigned cabin duties, prioritizing guest safety and comfort.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of all emergency procedures and aircraft equipment, operating exits and equipment with necessary force, up to 70 pounds.
  • Provide food and beverage service, which includes managing carts weighing over 250 pounds.
  • Assist passengers with carry-on baggage, lifting up to 35 pounds.
  • Maintain a clean and organized cabin environment.
  • Collaborate with crew members to ensure on-time departures and efficient operations.
  • Execute inflight sales and promotional activities as directed.
  • Support customer service staff with passenger handling and other duties.
  • Maintain consistent and reliable attendance, adhering to company policies.
  • Project a professional image through conduct and adherence to the company uniform policy.
  • Comply with all associate rules of conduct as outlined in company manuals.
  • Keep Inflight guides and manuals current.
  • Promote the company's core values and culture within the workplace.
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years of customer service experience.
  • Must be at least 20 years of age by the first interview date.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and government regulations.
  • Proven ability to effectively present information to and respond to questions from management, crew, passengers, and the public.
  • Proficiency in spoken English, including the ability to clearly communicate during emergency situations.
  • Capability to work effectively in a time-sensitive environment and manage stress associated with deadlines and unexpected changes.
  • Ability to interpret and follow various instructions presented in written, verbal, diagrammatic, or schedule formats.
  • Capacity to remain composed and react quickly in emergency situations, including medical emergencies, aircraft decompression, evacuations, fires, security threats, and passenger disturbances.
  • Demonstrated ability to make informed day-to-day decisions that support operations.
  • Ability to quickly process information and react appropriately in serious and unexpected situations.
  • Proven capacity to manage personal emotional responses and maintain composure under pressure.
  • Physical strength to operate emergency equipment and exits, using up to 70 pounds of force.
  • Ability to lift objects above shoulders, up to 35 pounds.
  • Capacity to push and pull carts weighing over 250 pounds.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, sometimes in turbulent conditions.
  • Capability to stoop, crouch, squat, climb and kneel.
  • Clear vision at 20 feet or more with corrective lenses or contacts.
  • Ability to hear verbal communications in person and over communication systems in high ambient noise environments.
  • Ability to sit in assigned jump seat with seatbelt and shoulder harness fastened without modifications.
  • Ability to move about the aircraft and perform all required functions freely, effectively and quickly in a confined environment.
  • Ability to work extended duty periods on sequential days.
  • Must have a wingspan of approximately 55 inches or greater.
  • Must not have multiple piercings visible while in uniform.
  • Adherence to the company's tattoo policy is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional years of customer service experience, preferably within an aviation setting.
  • Previous experience as a Flight Attendant.

Additional Requirements:

  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and a customer-focused approach.
  • Must be willing to serve alcoholic beverages.
  • Must be able and willing to serve and handle peanuts, meals containing shellfish/seafood, beef, and pork.
  • Ability to work with animals and around common allergens.
  • Must be willing to work in a culturally diverse atmosphere and professionally interact with passengers and crew under stressful conditions.
  • Must be able to accommodate passengers’ special needs or disabilities.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work varied schedules, including early mornings, nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Willingness to relocate based on company operational needs.
  • Ability to travel up to 100% of the time, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
