REACH Air is seeking a qualified Fixed Wing Pilot to provide critical medical air transportation services nationwide. This full-time position involves operating King Air 90/200 aircraft on a regular 7-days on and 7-days off schedule, servicing both day and night trips. The pilot will join a professional team committed to high safety standards for crew and customers. This role is based in the United States with California base openings in Murrieta, North Bend, and Crescent City.
The position offers a competitive salary range of $109,000 - $125,000 (inclusive of a 25% geographic modifier). A $15,000 sign-on bonus is offered upon successful completion of training and a checkride, with no training contract required. A $40,000 retention bonus is also available after a 6-month waiting period, structured as a 3-year program. Additional benefits include $5,000 in relocation assistance, company-paid crew housing, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, vision, dental, 401k, disability, FSA, HSA, EAP, vacation and paid time off.
The pilot will work closely with a team of medical experts to ensure the safe transportation of patients. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, ensuring aircraft readiness for flight, maintaining accurate documentation, communicating effectively with dispatch and other personnel, and providing shift change information. The pilot is also responsible for maintaining all required certifications and completing ongoing training.
This position requires working in outside weather conditions. The pilot may be required to deice the plane, assist with towing the aircraft, maneuvering in and out of the hangar, and prep the plane for flight.
The job requires the ability to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl. The pilot must be able to lift 70 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
The pilot schedule consists of 12-hour shifts, 7 days on and 7 days off, typically starting at 0500 or 1700. Occasional flight shifts may extend past 12 hours, generally not exceeding 15 hours.
