Pilot in Command - Aviation Excellence
The Pilot in Command is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft on all assigned flights. He assumes final authority regarding the aircraft's operation. He ensures strict compliance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, company flight operations manuals, and established standard operating procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5000 total flight hours is required.
- The candidate must possess at least 2500 hours of Pilot in Command (PIC) experience.
- 2500 hours of multi-engine land experience, including 1500 hours as multi-engine PIC, are necessary.
- 2000 hours of turbine aircraft experience and 500 hours of instrument time are also required.
