Perimeter Aviation | Flight Attendant

Position Summary

Reporting to the Flight Attendant Manager, the Flight Attendant serves as an ambassador of safety and customer service for all Perimeter flights. The successful candidate will maintain a safe and comfortable cabin environment while representing the company with professionalism and a commitment to service excellence.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Participate in crew briefings and obtain necessary flight information.
  • Conduct pre-flight checks of the aircraft, ensuring emergency and safety equipment and commissary supplies are prepared.
  • Deliver safety and service announcements and conduct demonstrations.
  • Prepare the cabin for take-off, landing, and monitor the cabin during flight.
  • Offer a selection of snacks and beverages and ensure the safekeeping of flight revenues in an organized manner.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and assistance to passengers and colleagues.
  • Perform cabin preparation, grooming, and stock management.
  • Complete all pre-flight and post-flight documentation.
  • Execute duties in accordance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Successfully complete a minimum four-week initial training program, including written and practical examinations.
  • Demonstrate sensitivity to the unique environmental, cultural, and business needs of diverse northern communities.
  • Assist in the offloading of freight as necessary.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) equivalent.
  • Minimum one to two years of customer service experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain applicable transportation security clearances and additional authorizations.
  • Valid passport.
  • Indigenous and Cultural Awareness Training is considered an asset.

Working Conditions

  • Physically able to perform all listed job duties, including lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to travel by aircraft and other means as required.
  • Requirement to work a flexible schedule, including travel for extended periods.
  • Work is performed both indoors and outdoors; the employee must be able to adapt to all outdoor weather conditions.
  • Ability to work independently within a single flight attendant environment.
