Northern Jet is seeking an experienced Pilot-in-Command (PIC) for its operations based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, or within a two-hour radius. This role involves flying both Part 91 and Part 135 operations, contributing to the company's mission of delivering seamless, client-focused travel experiences with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.
About the Role
The Pilot-in-Command is responsible for the safe, compliant, and efficient execution of all flight missions while ensuring an exceptional client experience. This position offers approximately 450+ flight hours annually, providing consistent utilization and valuable experience across a variety of flight operations and premium aircraft for a diverse client base.
Key Responsibilities

Operate flights under Part 91 and Part 135 regulations.

Ensure strict compliance with FAA regulations, duty limits, and company procedures.

Lead and coordinate all flight execution aspects with the flight crew.

Maintain aircraft safety, readiness, and adhere to reporting standards.

Deliver a high-caliber client experience consistent with Northern Jet's standards.

Complete all required administrative and operational documentation.
Requirements

3,000 hours of Total Time.

1,500 hours of Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time.

500+ hours of Multi-Engine Time.

Current 1st Class Medical Certificate.

Unrestricted FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) License.

No accidents, incidents, or warnings within the past five years.

Thorough knowledge of corporate aviation and international procedures, including operations in Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean.
