First Officer Opportunity: Norse Atlantic Airways
Norse Atlantic Airways is actively seeking highly qualified and ambitious aviation professionals to join its long-haul operational team. Minimum Professional and Flight Experience Requirements
Applicants must satisfy the following essential criteria to be considered for this challenging and rewarding role:
- The applicant must possess a minimum of 500 hours flown on turbine-powered aircraft.
- Type Rating training is provided by Norse Atlantic Airways; therefore, a current type rating is not required upon application.
- Candidates must meet the stringent requirements for Zero Flight Time Training (ZFTT) as defined in FCL.730.A. This necessitates a minimum of 500 hours or 100 sectors flown on a CS-25 or Multi-Pilot Aircraft exceeding 10 tons or configured for 19 passengers.
- Successful completion and passing of the ATPL(A) theoretical knowledge examinations are mandatory, in accordance with FCL.515.
- Holders of a Commercial Pilot License (CPL(A)) with a frozen Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) are eligible to apply.
- A current Instrument Rating (IR) and Multi-Engine (ME) rating are required.
- The expiry date of the Multi-Engine/Instrument Rating (ME/IR) cannot exceed 12 months from the scheduled commencement date of the training course. The ME/IR must be fully valid on the date of assessment.
License, Medical, and Administrative Compliance
Required Documentation and Authorization
- Possession of a current EASA flight crew license is mandatory.
- Maintenance of a valid EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate is essential.
- A minimum ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP) Level 5 is required.
- The successful candidate must hold the unrestricted legal right to live and work within the European Union (EU) and possess the ability to travel freely across the entire Norse Atlantic route network. (Note: Visa sponsorship is not provided.)
- Applicants must be eligible to obtain a C/1D crew visa for the United States prior to the commencement of training.
- All candidates must successfully pass an enhanced background check and satisfy all other applicable regulatory requirements governing air crew employment.
